I can see how kids would really enjoy this video! Mr. Potato Head explaining how he uses energy - who would have thought?! Sometimes it is nice to use a humorous twist to describe in-depth issues, such as the photosynthesis process, instead of the hard care, serious in nature attempt at education that so many of us use on a daily basis. Using a cartoon character such as this may be just what a student(s) needs to trigger their memory on the entire process!
I could see your high school students creating videos on science topics similar to this video on photosynthesis. They would show mastery of the topic and have fun tapping their creative side making a video. Thanks for sharing.
